The Chronicle Posters are interesting because they started with an extreme long shot, which focused the viewer on the main idea of anonymous kids with superpowers, and slowly progressed to heighten the focus on teen angst. For me, it’s the 4th poster that really sells it, but I also see the 3rd poster as being an important shot between, presenting paradoxically powerful, disaffect youth. The last poster with Matt, I actually don’t remember seeing it at all before the film came out.
Ok, the Deer Woman poster isn’t crazy exciting, since it mostly notes that John Landis is directing. But for the sake of completeness….here it is.
